Get The Look: Ashley Greene at Eclipse Premiere

mark Brand Ambassador Ashley Greene and star of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse made her mark last night at the movies LA premiere at the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival. Celebrity Makeup Artist Vanessa Scali shared her top makeup tricks for creating Ashley’s stunning look.

Inspiration
"We wanted to create a soft, glowing goddess look to complement her beautiful Alexis Mabille Couture dress. The overall look was golden skin, soft blushed cheeks, champagne shimmer and a softly lined eye."

Face
"I prepped Ashley's skin by applying mark Primed for Perfection Face Primer all over Ashley's face to create a nice, even canvas. I like the skin to look flawless but real, so I always use foundation and concealers sparingly. With Ashley, I used mark Speedway Do Everything Makeup in Natural. I applied it with the mark Foundation Brush and then blended it with my fingers. Using my fingers to blend heats the product just a bit and leaves a seamless finish. Next, I applied mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Light/Medium under her eyes."

Cheeks
"I wanted to create a nice luminous glow, so I started by applying just a touch of mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Natural to the top of her cheekbones, down the center of her nose and the bow of her top lip. Next, I applied mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Pro Glo to her temples, under her cheekbones and under her jaw line to lightly enhance the bronze in her natural skin tone. Lastly, I used mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy on the apples of her cheeks for the perfect healthy flush."

Eyes
"For Ashley’s eyes I started by using mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Nomadic to create a champagne shimmer all over her eyelids and under the bottom lashes. Next, to define and elongate the lash line, I lined her upper eyelids with mark Keep It Going Longwear Eyeliner and Shadow in Entourage (Black Shade). For a touch of added depth, I used mark Get in Line Hook Up Waterproof Eyeliner in Painted Black at the very base of her lashes. I finished with a few generous coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black."

Lips
"For Ashley’s lips, I started by using a dab of mark Kiss Dry Goodbye Lip Smoother to give her lips a touch of moisture. I then used mark Kissink Liptint Marker in Berry to define the outer edge of her lips and smudged the color into the center."

Grammy Gorgeous: Kristen Bell

Actress Kristen Bell looked stunning at the 2010 Grammy Awards in a long, black dress by Etro. mark Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh shares with Spoiled Pretty how she created Kristen's gorgeous red carpet look.

Face
"For Kristen's face, I first applied mark Calm & Composed Super Soothing Moisturizer followed by mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Buff using the mark Foundation Brush. To cover any redness, I used mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Fair/Light and mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Light underneath her eyes. I then set her foundation by brushing on mark Matte-nificent Oil Absorbing Powder in Nude Ivory using the mark Powder Brush. As a final touch, I applied mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush Custom Color Palette in Sandy to the apples of her cheeks to create that natural looking glow."

Eyes
"I wanted to make Kristen's eyes the focus of her face, so I started by smudging mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Jet along the top of her lash line using the mark Eyeliner Brush. I extended the liner outwards so that it looked like a smudged cat eye. I then mixed I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadows in Tiki and Magic and lightly dusted onto her lids, using the mark Angled Contour Eyeshaodw Brush to soften the edge by blending it back and forth. I then used two coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black on her upper and lower lashes."

Lips
"For her lips I used mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in m.powerment Peach."

Emmys 2009 Beauty: Ginnifer Goodwin

Ginnifer Goodwin, star in the HBO series Big Love was pretty (and pixie) in purple at last night's 2009 Emmy Awards.

mark celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh explains how she created Ginnifer’s gorgeous red carpet look.
"Ginnifer wore a beautiful, fuschia strapless dress, so we wanted to keep her look more neutral, but focused on her eyes. To get her look, I started by applying mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Buff with a foundation brush. I then applied mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Light above her cheekbones and mark Good Riddance Hook Up Highlighter in Fair/Light under her eyes. Once the foundation and creams were applied, I set everything by dusting mark Matte-Nificent in Buff/Natural with a powder brush. And finally, to give her a warm glow, I swept mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush in Hush Baby on her cheeks using the blush/bronzer brush."

"For her eyes, I started by applying mark Winkstick Hook Up Eyeshadow Stick in Glitzy to her entire eyelid. Next, I layered mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Tiki from her lash line to the crease using an eyeshadow brush. I then blended mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Espresso into the crease of her eyes using an angled contour eyeshadow brush and smudged Tiki along her bottom lash line using an eyeliner brush. I finished by applying two coats of mark Make it Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven."

"I completed Ginnifer’s look by layering mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicous Lip Color in Skinny Dip and mark Pro Gloss Lip Plumping Lip Shine in Swell to her lips."
